Ummagma is a Canadian-Ukrainian duo comprised of Alexx Kretov and Shauna McLarnon. A mixture of the ethereal and ambient with sublime resonance, beats and rhythm to create richly layered soundscapes. In mid-July, Ummagma released two CD albums («Ummagma» and «Antigravity»). Although this music encompasses several music genres — indie rock, post-rock, dream pop, ambient/ethereal, space rock and progressive rock — there is a common remarkable theme, elevating atmosphere and stirring effect in Ummagma’s music.

This recording is our tribute to Kraków — obscure area of inspiration and misunderstandings, old city of new art and technology, place of imminent comfort and lazy silence, convenient space for breeding bizarre and radical ideas.
Kraków is unpredictable and constant, always late and always ahead of time, extremely boring and super innovative, like it’s just don’t care.
We were looking for lost and hidden currents of Kraków, or creating new ones for the city that always sleeps and always awake.
